Breath of the Wild Korok Theory Suggests the Return of The Great Deku Tree

Could The Great Deku Tree be returning in Breath of the Wild? YouTuber Zeltik believes so, specifically due to the Korok’s direct connection to the other worldly forest spirit in The Wind Waker. It’s a fairly plausible ideal, though I do question the logic behind the location of the tree, as he suspects and states an area under which we haven’t yet seen and can’t possibly know if it is indeed the most densely wooded area in the game. That being said, there is more to this than meets the eye. You see, each Korok gives us a special seed that appears in the key items section of our inventory. What role could this possibly play?
