Daily Debate: Which 2D Zelda Game Should Get the A Link Between Worlds Treatment?

Nintendo hit the nail on the head with A Link Between Worlds, combining nostalgia with more amazing game design to create an enjoyable handheld Zelda game for both old fans and new. It is one of my favorite games I’ve ever played, and I’m sure others would say the same. One thing I’ve talked about with my fellow Zelda Informers co-workers before is what 2D Zelda game would also be fun if given the A Link Between Worlds treatment (that is, re-creating the older game’s world and using it in a new game).
What game would you pick? Oracle of Seasons? Maybe you would go with the first title, The Legend of Zelda for NES. I would personally choose Link’s Awakening, as I particularly adore that game. Plus, fans who have never played the game may want to experience it (or a game based on it) because of the Link’s Awakening DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors. Which game would you pick? Let us know in the comments.
