Photoshop Contest: The Legend of Zelda GO
Posted on July 15 2016 by Rod Lloyd
Greetings, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to yet another bout in Zelda Informer’s weekly Photoshop Contest. For the past week, Pokémon fans around the world have been caught up in the frenzy that is Pokémon Go. Mobile phones in hands, these people have braved the world outside their homes, some ignoring public safety concerns along the way, to find and collect the many beasts that have been released upon the planet. I’d say Nintendo and Niantic have a massive success on their hands. But what if they decided too extend that success to The Legend of Zelda as well. Show us what that would look like in this week’s contest, and don’t forget to check out the winners of last week’s contest: The Forms of Calamity Ganon.
Last Week’s Contest:
Calamity Ganon is known to take any forms in Breath of the Wild.

This Week’s Contest: The Legend of Zelda GO
Pokémon Go has given fans the unique opportunity to step into the role of a real-life Pokémon trainer, as they explore the familiar world around them to catch and battle pocket monsters within their neighborhoods and beyond. It’s pretty safe to say that the mobile title has brought the Pokémon series to life in a way that no other game has achieved. But what if Nintendo applied their Poké-success to another of their popular franchises?
The contest this week is show what a Zelda Augmented Reality mobile game would look like. The app could put users in the role of Link as they explore the wilds of their backyards, finding dungeons, monsters, and other such secrets. Using the images in our gallery below and whatever else you may find on the net, construct your own Zelda Go game for all to see.
