Daily Debate: How Should Nintendo Reveal the NX?

September is supposedly the month of NX, as Nintendo should reveal the console answering the burning questions we have about it. Then, we wait another 6 months until NX’s scheduled launch in March. While we still wait for its actual reveal, there has been a lot of debate going around the Internet recently about just how the company should be showing it off for the first time. I thought it would make a great topic for a Daily Debate, so let’s have at it.

Some would prefer Nintendo to use their Nintendo Direct livestream format as a tool to reveal the NX. While this would be an easy way to do it, I’ve seen others push for a formal event with press invites. Eurogamer’s Tom Phillips‘ expectations are a mix of both, with a Nintendo Direct and press event happening at the same time. Which choice would you prefer? Let us know in the comments.
