kaeporagaeboraGood day and thank you for joining me as I, Kaepora Gaebora once again take you through all of the most important or talked about topics of the last week. Here, at Zelda Dungeon we post many different things that relate to the fate and lives of the various characters that live and breathe within the realm of the Zelda franchise. Some stories we share might move or inspire you more than others. So we ask, if we share with you a tale of a fan-made item, a piece of news, or even our own opinions as to various aspects of the Zelda series, please do the same yourselves! If you come across a story that speaks to something within your mind or heart, share that with us, comment on the things you are most passionate about so that I will be able to share those with all right here, as I come back each week to take you on a journey back in time.

Now I must ask; Did You Get All That? If so, join me past the break.

Our journey begins last Sunday with the announcement that Zelda Universe had released the second act of hyrule warriors movieHyrule Warriors: The Movie. After a few challenges in releasing this latest addition to their project Act 2 was ready for viewing!

If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, you can watch it here.

We now spend a moment revisiting an amazing Kickstarter project we shared with you early in the week.f79efc698cab1febaaa2213a42c1544a_original Christian Gohring began a project to create a silicone replica of Majora’s Mask, including casting resin to ensure the strength of the mask. When we first shared with you this story the project had not yet reached its goal but now I am happy to say the project has reach its goal with fourteen backers and still has thirteen days to go! Plenty of time for you to participate, as some backers will even receive their very own replica, you might want to check it out!

Our next stop on our journey takes us to a surprising bit of news we learned about an upcoming game forScreen Shot 2015-05-26 at 9.27.06 AM the Wii U, Yoshi’s Woolly World. In this title 40 different amiibo will be able to be used to create special outfits for the adorable Yarn Yoshi to wear. Included in these are several characters from the Zelda franchise. Link, Toon Link, Sheik, and Ganondorf amiibo can all be used to give the little Yoshi a Zelda inspired appearance.

To check out the video that shows what Link’s green garb will look like on Yoshi, check it out here.

The next story on our adventure back in time takes place at a neighborhood Gamestop, where Robert Ybh4DLAlPiazza and Christa Slayton tie the knot dressed as our beloved characters, Link and Zelda. The entire weeding was themed after the games that they love and at the place they had first met. Attendees dressed as various characters in support of the happy gaming duo.

The final stop on this week’s journey back in time takes us to the piece that inspired you all to participate caballoin the most, where Alexis told us about some Zelda Wii U plot rumors and possible E3 appearance. The rumors came from the Hidden Triforce and gave us some pretty interesting pieces of information that at this time are still just a rumor. The gist of the info is that Zelda U will be amiibo compatible, which honestly makes sense. There is also the possibility that Ganon will be in the game but not the main protagonist, and that we will be seeing a trailer at E3, even though Aonuma stated otherwise. The information supposedly comes from a Nintendo rep but cannot be corroborated at this time.

Many of you had some amazing things to say as to your opinions on the series, things they have done so far, and your thoughts on the validity of these rumors.

Kaoru La Kaoru said:

“Well…they sound legit. But that’s what rumors tend to do so…I’ll take this with a large grain of salt…make that a chunk.
I still really do hope we might at least get some official artwork, however. I still find it ridiculous that a game this big would have NO presence at E3.”

And QuestionKing3445 had this to say:

“hmmm… I don’t know why, but most of these rumored facts already seem to have been shown, game wise (besides the amiibos, Ganondorf not being the main villain, and character races). The darker themes was a given with last years E3 trailer and how the peaceful land of Hyrule could change in mere seconds to a suspenseful, fast paced, dangerous situation. NPC’s were already said to be more interactive with the statement Aonuma gave of getting of track with your main destination (basically the NPC’s are people you want to get to know so you get stuck helping them instead of going straight to your destination). The controls their obvious (you don’t need a genius to know what controls the Wii U uses). Fast transportation has to be implemented with a world thats roughly 350 miles long… or bigger, give or take. Without this it would become tedious and frustrating by only being able to travel on a horse. I don’t know about the E3 appearance but I hope its true (PLEASE BE TRUE). All in all this info for what it saids honestly doesn’t really say that much. It just is restating whats been established with a few additions here and there to make it believable. Besides why would a Nintendo Representative spill all this info and a Gamestop employee happened to hear it. They could both lose their jobs (since its confidential information). Remember what happened to the guy who leaked the SSB 3Ds screen shots. Take this info with a grain of salt.”
