Ocarina of Time’s Forest Temple Gets The Minecraft Treatment
Posted on May 04 2015 by Kev
We’ve had a few locations from the Zelda universe recreated in Minecraft including one that tried to remake the entire map from the original Legend of Zelda. On this occasion, Imgur user democallister has shared some screenshots showing the Minecraft remake of the entire Forest Temple from Ocarina of Time and it’s pretty impressive.
Take the jump to see some of the screenshots.
There are a lot more screenshots on democallister’s Imgur page for this project so be sure to have a look. They have really gone for the attention to detail including moss/vines growing on walls and the block puzzle room looks just as confusing as it does in the actual game. They may not have put the correct Poe pictures in their respective rooms or in Phantom Ganon’s lair but that’s a minor aspect especially considering how well made the rest of the temple is. Plus one of the pictures looks like a Donkey Kong stage which is a nice touch.
What do you think? What other temples, and not just from Ocarina of Time, would you like to see made in Minecraft? Let us know in the comments below.
