Science is cool. Admit it. Not only does science help to explain the secrets of the universe, but it can also explain the world of Zelda. In the past, Majora’s Mask‘s moon has been called into question, as things like its specific size and speed leading to such massive destruction is rather inconceivable, but this new episode of Space Time on PBS Digital Studios‘ YouTube channel takes things a step further, and examines how a black hole being inside of the moon may help clear things up.

I always love videos like this, because not only do I get to look back at some great classic games, while also learning about cool science-y stuff. Learning is good. Also, if anyone hasn’t check out the YouTube show he mentioned, called Game Theory, I highly recommend it. Lots of Zelda theories based on real scientific evidence, and ones for other games, too!
Did you guys learn anything new from the video? What other elements of Majora’s Mask would you like to see scientifically explained? Leave a comment below!
