Minute Long Legend of Zelda Minecraft Parody
Posted on March 18 2015 by Alexis S. Anderson
There have been a good deal of Zelda related buildings, icons, and maps spotted floating around the Minecraft universe; in this particular bit of fan material though, the plot of nearly every Legend of Zelda game has been packed into a minute long Minecraft-style parody of the series. The video pokes fun at some of the series’ idiosyncrasies and Link’s sleepy tendencies. In the end, Link goes a little haywire and makes some rash decisions.
MinuteMinecraftParodies makes exactly what its name suggests, minute long parodies in Minecraft’s blocky-pixel-art style. The parodies are of video games, movies, and television shows. MinuteMinecraftParodies releases a new video every Friday. It’s covered everything from Titanic, to Five Nights at Freddy’s, to The Matrix, among many others. I really enjoyed its Zelda parody, the sleeping was a creative and smooth transition between titles, and I loved the references to other rather nerdy franchises.
What did you think of this parody? Do you like the utilization of Minecraft’s art style? Would you be interested in watching more of MinuteMinecraftParodies videos? Share your thoughts in the comments!
