'''Parapa Palace''' is the first [[dungeon]] in ''[[Zelda II: The Adventure of Link|The Adventure of Link]]'', located in the [[Parapa Desert]] of [[Western Hyrule]]. Within, [[Link]] must recover the [[Candle]] and defeat [[Horsehead]], the palace's boss. Upon completion, [[Link]] places one of the six [[Crystal]]s, a necessary step to enter the [[Great Palace]].

==Horsehead==

[[Horsehead]] stands as the final enemy of Parapa Palace. Heavily armored, it can only be damaged by striking its head. If [[Link]] draws to close, Horsehead will strike him with a large mace.  

The [[Candle]] is uncovered in the basement of Parapa Palace after dispatching a [[Guma]] and Orange [[Iron Knuckle]]. Like most other items in ''[[Zelda II: The Adventure of Link|The Adventure of Link]]'', it must be claimed to continue with the quest. With the [[Candle]] in his possession, [[Link]] is able to see inside of caves.
