The Depths is a location in Tears of the Kingdom. Along with the Sky and Surface, it is one of the three major elevations found within the game.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Depths are a very dark place where light from the Surface doesn't reach. There are some minimal campfires around, but Link will need to use Brightbloom Seeds in order to see. Throughout the Depths there are tons of Lightroots that Link can activate. When activated, they will bring full light to the area, allowing Link to see in the nearby region.
