To create a special attack, we need to fill the special attack gauge that is located on the upper left of the screen, below the hearts. For Urbosa and Vah Naboris, the special attack gauge is below their thunder gauge. To fill a gauge, attack enemies like Bokoblins and Lizafos. The gauge will be full and have the letter 'A' marked on it. Press the A button to activate the special attack. If you do a special attack on a key enemy, the enemy will get stunned and you'll get a chance to attack their weak point gauge.
