Death Mountain is a location found in Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Main article: Death Mountain (Breath of the Wild)

In Breath of the Wild, Death Mountain is an active volcano and the location where the Divine Beast Vah Rudania can be found.

Tears of the Kingdom

In Tears of the Kingdom the eruptions around Death Mountains have stopped, causing the entire region to cool down. Lava no longer appears outdoors, but only within caves in the region. Within the mountain itself, the Death Mountain Chasm has formed through the center, leading down to the Depths. The mountain spews gloom until Moragia emerges and is defeated by Link and Yunobo. After this, while gloom is still present, it merely clings to the interior walls as with most other chasms.

Just east of the mountain, near Death Mountain Marker #9, Addison can be found holding a Hudson Sign. Link can place a Wooden Box to weigh down the sign, preventing it from falling. As a thanks, Addison will give Link a Red Rupee, some Scorching Meaty Rice Balls, and a Bomb Flower.
