'''Moldorms''' are recurring enemies in [[The Legend of Zelda (Series)|''The Legend of Zelda'' series]]. They are usually small land-dwelling creatures that are like long worms. In more recent games, they have taken the appearance of a more centipede-like enemy instead of worm-like. In some games, Moldorms appear as [[Boss]]es.

In ''[[The Legend of Zelda]]'', Moldorms appear in [[Level 2: The Moon|Level 2]] and in [[Level 7: The Demon|Level 7]] in the First Quest, or [[Level 1 (Second Quest)|Level 1]] and [[Level 8 (Second Quest)|Level 8]] in the [[Second Quest]]. They can be defeated by slashing one part of their body at a time, until they have finally been reduced to one piece, at which time a final slash will do them in. In the last [[Level 9: Death Mountain|dungeon]] of the game, Moldorms are replaced by a tougher enemy known as a [[Lanmola]].

Moldorm is the boss of the [[Tower of Hera (A Link to the Past)|Tower of Hera]]. Moldorm later appears as a mini-boss in [[Ganon's Tower (A Link to the Past)|Ganon's Tower]]. Smaller enemies known as [[Mini-Moldorm]] appear, which share many of the same characteristics as Moldorm, with much less health.

Larger Moldorm do not make an appearance in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons|Oracle of Seasons]]'' and ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages|Oracle of Ages]]'', but there smaller mini-moldorm counterparts do. They are identical to their Link's Awakening DX versions, taking just a couple sword slashes to defeat.

In ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords|Four Swords]]'', Moldorm are more uncommon enemies that appear and can be quite dangerous. They again are more centipede-like enemies with large balls as their bodies. The mini-moldorm have more health than most enemies in Four Swords, requiring Link to deal eight sword slashes to defeat them.

Moldorm first appear in the [[Fortress of Winds]]. Initially they can be seen, but they are hidden behind walls of sand. After Link acquires the [[Mole Mitts]], he can dig and access many of the Moldorms that were incaged in sand. Moldorm move around in erratic patterns and their only attack is running into [[Link (The Minish Cap)|Link]]. Four slashes with the [[White Sword]] will defeat them.

In ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess|Twilight Princess]]'', a Moldorm is a worm-like enemy that buries itself beneath the desert sand. Its only attack is to leap up and hit [[Link (Twilight Princess)|Link]]. To attack, he can use the [[Clawshot]] to pull it to the surface and vanquish it with one strike of his [[sword]], or wait for it to jump and use the Mortal Draw [[Hidden Skills|Hidden Skill]].

Moldorms appear in the [[Temple of Courage]]. They move around randomly, occasionally going directly for [[Link (The Wind Waker)#Phantom Hourglass|Link]]. Three hits to their backside defeats them.

Moldorms in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword|Skyward Sword]]'' can be found in the [[Fire Sanctuary (Skyward Sword)|Fire Sanctuary]], [[Sky Keep]], and an island in the [[Thunderhead]]. After digging underground with his [[Mogma Mitts]], [[Link (Skyward Sword)|Link]] can find them crawling around in a continuous circle. If they spot Link, they'll charge at him immediately, causing a small amount of damage. Their backside is their sole weak point.

Four Moldorms appear in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds|A Link Between Worlds]]''. It is first fought as the boss of the [[Tower of Hera (A Link Between Worlds)|Tower of Hera]] and later appears as a mini-boss of [[Lorule Castle]]. Moldorms also appear in the [[Treacherous Tower]], where one Moldorm can be fought on the fifth floor of Beginner Mode and another one encountered on the 50th floor of Advanced Mode.
