As announced the E3 Nintendo Direct, Wave 1 of the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity DLC introduces a new combatant in the form of the “Battle-Tested Guardian,” a controllable moving Guardian-made-ally. It also adds new weapons for Link and Zelda in the form of the Ancient Flail and the Master Cycle, respectively, as well as the new Royal Ancient Tech Lab location for challenging your skills.
Wave 2 of the Expansion Pass will be releasing in November and will feature new cutscenes, characters, stages, and battle skills, so the bonuses don’t stop just yet for those with the pass.
What are your thoughts? Have you already grabbed the Age of Calamity Expansion Pass? Are you excited to get revenge for every time you’ve been stumped by a Guardian? Are you fascinated with the idea of using the Master Cycle as a weapon? Let us know in the comments below!
