With the first anniversary of Tears of the Kingdom days away, Nintendo has announced a handful of surprises for fans of the game. Among these surprises is an official release of Tears of the Kingdom’s soundtrack, as revealed by Nintendo’s official Zelda account on X. The CD set, arriving in Japan on Wednesday, July 31st from Nippon Columbia, will contain a planned 344 tracks from the game and its trailers across nine compact discs.

Two editions of the soundtrack will be released: a Limited First Edition and a Regular Edition. The Limited First Edition (MSRP 19,800 JPY) soundtrack and its digipak case will be housed in a box featuring Tears of the Kingdom‘s Zonai hand symbol and will include a USB Master Sword that plays sounds from the game. The Regular Edition (MSRP 13,200 JPY) will contain the soundtrack itself housed in a digipak case.

The Limited First Edition is available to pre-order now on Amazon Japan, Playasia, and CDJapan. The Regular Edition can also be pre-ordered from Amazon Japan, Playasia, and CDJapan.

We’re incredibly excited about this news! Are you as happy as we are to get an official Tears of the Kingdom soundtrack release? Will you import either edition, or will you wait to see if it’s released internationally? Give us your thoughts in the comments!
