ZI Contest: Win this Wooden Sword Replica of the Twilight Princess Master Sword

HalloweenCostumes.com is providing us this Wood Sword replica of the Twilight Princess Mastersword to give away as we so choose.

The wooden blade measures 23” long and is painted silver, with the Triforce etched into the blade. The dark blue scabbard, also made of wood, features gold detailing along the middle and the ends. (Please note: the shade of blue may vary from the image shown.) When fully sheathed the entire item measures 38”.

Of course, you can just go ahead and purchase the blade if you want for $42 USD, or you can take a crack at our writing contest to simply get it for free while gaining a lot of personal recognition for your work. I know what some are thinking. A writing contest, how could we? Not everyone can write! We hear you, and luckily we’ll have a contest down the road where literally everyone can enter. This time around, however, we wish to see your writing skills and display them to the world.

In order to enter, you simply have to write and present a editorial work based upon the Zelda series. It can be any sort of editorial you want, be it theorizing, fact based, opinion, or whatever else you can dream up. The entries will then be posted on ZI for all to see, with the eventual handpicked winner getting a major spotlight in our featured area, and the honor of kicking off our very first day that ZI returns back to being just all about Zelda… all the time. Of course, you also would win this fabulous prize. Just send your work to nathan@zeldadungeon.net. You have until January 31st to complete your written work and have it sent in. You can submit more than one writing, but note we will choose your best of what you give us for the purpose of determining the contest winner, so quantity doesn’t necessarily give anyone an advantage.
