Four Zelda Classics Make IGN’s Top 100 Video Games of All-Time List

All of us have that one Zelda title we consider the absolute greatest, and will debate with you until the end of time in order to explain to you why it’s amazing. We here at Zelda Informer appreciate it when other people acknowledge the legacy that Zelda games have given us, so it’s great to see that the folks at IGN have added four titles from the Zelda series to their new list of the top 100 video games of all-time. Let’s see where these four games landed on this all-time countdown.
These Zelda titles include The Wind Waker, A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, and of course, The Legend of Zelda, which all have a solid place on this list. This countdown has The Wind Waker making number 96, The Legend of Zelda at number 30, and Ocarina of Time at number eight. The highest accolade for a Zelda game though on this list goes to A Link to the Past, as it makes the number two spot on this list. These games beat out other titles on this countdown like Perfect Dark, Shadow of the Colossus, BioShock, Silent Hill 2, Doom, and Super Metroid.
