Wind Waker HD Remake with Zelda U Commentary via Nintendo Direct

Above is the segment of Nintendo Direct where Aonuma waltzed down from Mount Sinai and gave to us the two tidbits of Zelda knowledge.

The first thing to make an impression is the slew of gorgeous Wind Waker HD screenshots. We’ve compiled them here, and it’s clear that Nintendo’s putting a lot of care into presenting this memorable game for a new generation.

Aonuma’s conversation has little to do with Wind Waker, though; he actually starts talking about the direction they want to take Zelda U; and what a direction it is! The possibility of a co-op Zelda, along with a return to a less linear style, has a lot of fans buzzing in our comments section and on the forums.

I don’t suppose any of you guys reading Zelda Informer articles are excited for this new Zelda game—or are you?
