Majora’s Mask 3D Beaver Race Footage
Posted on January 27 2015 by Theodore Homdrom
New footage keeps appearing as we get closer to the release of Majora’s Mask 3D. We recently got a look at changes to the swimming mechanics for Zora Link, and a recent video shows off how a section of the original game that relied on swimming as a Zora is modified due to those changes.
The Beaver Race from the original game had Zora Link swimming through rings underwater. That’s still the case here, though pots containing magic power have been added to compensate for the new swimming mechanics. It’s reminiscent of the Goron rolling sections in the game, with pots and rolling snowballs that can be rolled through to regain magic and keep going. Other than those pots, the race appears to be unchanged from the original.
What do you think of the footage? How do you feel about the new Zora swimming mechanics? Let us know in the comments below!
