Update: Added a new working video. Will also add an alternative link at the bottom that can’t be taken down.
With less than a week to E3, leaks and official announcements alike are rampant. Thankfully, this news falls into the latter category. In a short video, it has been revealed that the Wii U Zelda x Dynasty Warriors hit, Hyrule Warriors, will be heading to the 3DS. The announcement doesn’t stop there, however, as two brand new playable characters from The Wind Waker have been revealed: Tetra and The King of Red Lions.
The reveal trailer above showcases both of these characters, along with regulars from the Wii U version, in action, and even hints at new items for the game in the treasure chest sequence. Additionally, you’ll be able to transfer these characters to the Wii U version.
Looks like we’re finally getting our Wind Waker representation in Hyrule Warriors! Hopefully we’ll hear something more along the lines of a release date next week during Nintendo’s E3 presentation.
