Culture Shock: Majora’s African Roots Part 1
Posted on October 18 2014 by Nathanial Rumphol-Janc
One person apparently thinks much of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask art design and influence is based upon Africa and they plan to do a full 3 (or 4) part series on it. This is part 1, which examines some of the boss designs and compares them directly to aspects, culture, and even animals found in Africa. While I will admit this first episode does seem to stretch things a bit to make it all fit, they promise the next episode will show even more direct influences, which may or may not make the first part not nearly as a big of a stretch as it seems.
What do you think? If you agree or disagree… why?
