Who wrecked the joint the best?

BotW is a post apocalyptic game, but not the first for Zelda.

Wind Waker was post apocalyptic too, it was just a very wet apocalypse.

But which apocalypse wrecked the joint more?

Was it the Goddesses flooding Hyrule or was it Calamity Ganon who apparantly took out a lot more than we saw?

Which apocalypse wrecked the joint more?

The Flooding for the simple and obvious, there was nothing left of hyrule but the castle and the peoples, in BOTW this "calamity" wasn't so calamitous we see there are plenty of settlements that are still about 100 years later and the people seem to be on the same developmental stages as OOT people.

Even if it isn't outright stated, there is evidence of apocalypse in almost every Zelda game.

ALttP is stated to be a late kingdom Hyrule, with Hylian's even spoken of in the past tense. The first LoZ looks like it takes place in an abandoned or at least extremely wild part of the kingdom. Twilight Princess is brimming with evidence to suggest Hyrule is in a period of downturn with Castle Town being about the only center of habitation. Ordon is frontier country. Kakariko is distant and of course depopulated just prior to the events of the game. Snowpeak Ruins are a desolate outpost in an uninhabited region. The ruins in the Sacred Grove have been forgotten for ages. The ruined foundations in the Elden region of Hyrule Field and the disrepair of the bridges all suggests that Hyrule is in decline. There's also the obvious evidence of geological calamity that may have occurred with the stark landscapes and giant crevasses. Majora's Mask takes place during an apocalypse in progress. Only OoT seems to take place during the Kingdom's heyday and it appears to be a modest Hyrule in its earliest days. Of course until The Dorf mucks it up.

As for pure devastation however nothing beats a flood. But nothing says total annihilation quite like coming face to freakishly scary face with your planets moon.

The flooding, first by the Godesses and then the even more destructive flooding brought about by King Daphnes.
