Appearance: A skinny Japanese lad with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He wears a long dark blue robe with a hood that he pulls over his head sometimes, and there are some red patterns along the edges of the robe.
Type of Magic: Specialises in healing and wind magic.
Familiar: A white-cheeked starling.
Wand: He uses his hands to do magic.

Anyways, I think I'll remake my character; here he is:

Appearance: About 6'4, medium build, brown hair, green eyes; generally wears the sorcery uniform.
Magic: Sorcery
Familiar: A falcon named Talon
Wand: Generally uses hands, occasionally uses staff.

The Headmaster of Magic University, Merle Inther sits in his office. He's an old man, and he has heard all of the Gandalf jokes, thank you very much. As he is pondering his life, a boy fades into existence before him. "Ah, good; you've arrived. Normally, I wouldn't greet new students personally, but our admissions staff are a bit occupied at the moment. You're Mr... Greenfield, yes?"

The student, now revealed to be Liam Greenfield, nods. "Yes sir. If I may ask, how is the situation outside?" The Headmaster sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Not too well, I'm afraid. It seems like there's a new problem every time I turn my head. Now then, you registered as a Sorceror, correct? Would you prefer power or control?"

Liam ponders this for a moment. "Control sir. Power's a bit useless without it." The Headmaster nods, smiling. "A wise choice." He hands Liam a bag of sand. "You already know how to accomplish telekinesis, yes?" At the student's nod, he continued, "Try to control every grain of this sand. When you can control them all at once, let me or your assigned teacher know, and one of us will give you another exercise. However, that's just something for your spare time. For now," He hands Liam his Sorcery uniform. "Come back when you've changed. There's supposed to be a group of you arriving today, and I already have an assignment in mind for the three of you." Liam nods and walks off.

 

[Pen]

Eiji comes rushing up the stairs to the headmaster's office. "Dammit I'm gonna be late," he thinks to himself. As he reaches the top of the stairs he sees a green-eyed boy with brown hair walk out of the headmaster's office. "**** I AM late..." he thinks again. Without letting his legs stop, Eiji blasts through the doors which were just about to close and when he stops he finds himself face to face with an old man. Could this really be the headmaster? His face screams with surprise.

The Headmaster looks up. "Ah, you must be Mr. Oshiro, excellent. Don't worry, you're not late. I'm your new Headmaster, Merle Inther. I wouldn't normally be the one to greet you, but our admissions personnel are a bit busy at the moment; something about a giant serpent in Quetzal Lane.

Anyways, unfortunately, we do not specialize in life or wind magic. However, I have consulted the Life Magic Institute and Chatric's School of the Elemental Arts and found some exercises for you. First," He hands Eiji a bag of seeds. "In your spare time, plant these all over the city and use your magic to make them grow. Please note that these are apple seeds, so if you get bananas, you've done something wrong.

Next," He hands Eiji a bag of leaves. "Use your Wind to split these. Once you can accomplish that easily, use Wind magic to keep them hovering in the air around you at all times. Once that becomes second nature, and we have fully matured apple trees throughout the city, come see me for more exercises.

Finally," He hands Eiji a uniform. "Change into this, and come back here when you're done. Once our final student arrives and prepares himself, I will tell you your assignment."

Eiji smiles at the joke about banana trees and he accepts the apple seeds and the leaves and puts them in his inside pocket. These were some pretty neat exercises. The uniform looked okay so he accepted that too. "Thank you, Mister Inther!" he says, still panting somewhat from having run up the stairs. "I will do my utmost." Eiji then bows and walks out the door.

The Headmaster just smiles and waits for the third student.

Darkell pokes his head into the room. He was nervous. His parents had both gone here, and had spoken very highly of Headmaster Inther. Hed psyched himself out before stepping in through the door.
But he had to. So he did.
Darkell enters, clothed in robes that looked like he was already trying to hide in the shadows, "Heasmastser," he nods to the much older man, "Darkell Warlic."

 

[Woyogoyo]

The Headmaster smiles at him. "Ah; excellent. I was rather glad to see your application Mr. Warlic. I knew your parents, and they were wonderful people. I expect that they've raised you into a fine young man. Now, we may not specialize in Dark magic, but I consulted Paragon Academy, and they gave me a few exercises for you, the first of which is this." He handed him a wooden sword hilt.

"As you may know, the most basic application of Dark magic is the manipulation of what is commonly known as "Dark Energy". Using Dark Energy, an Umbra Witch or Wizard is able to create constructs. These constructs can be anything from chairs to trebuchets. This sword hilt is made from blackwood, a material which conducts Dark magic extremely well. I want you to use this hilt to form a sword out of Dark Energy. Once you can do it with the hilt, I want you to make one without it. Once you've completed this task, come see me, and I'll give you more exercises.

Now then," He hands Darkell a uniform. "Go change into this. Please return when, you're done, as I have an assignment for you."
