Last minute deals yay or nay

We all know them. Last minute deals. Holidays, stores etc. Are they really worth it or is it a waste of time?

I think the last minute deals exist you to pressure you into buying. Just got an 90% off on GoG with 24 hrs time limit. I took a moment to look at the backlog I have and decided not to buy it. Can't say I would've done the same a few months back

I heard theyre cons cuz they put the prices higher than they have for 10 days before the event....
