PREMATURE CANCELLATION has hit Japan’s first virtual reality (VR) porn festival, which was shut down after overcrowding put grot lovers at risk of a sticky situation.
This probably wasn’t the climax for which many of the would-be attendees had hoped, which, according to 'WildPhil1988' in the VR Talk forum, was to cop a feel of all manner of VR adult entertainment devices.
The forum poster used his Japanese language skills to translate a comment from a reporter who tried to attend the conference, and gave us the following insight.
"The event didn’t start until 2pm, so I went there in high spirits an hour before then, but the city was already overflowing with people. There were so many that it was almost impossible to keep the situation under control," said the translated reporter, who sounded a bit choked that he couldn't get past the festival's first base.
"While waiting for my friends, I couldn’t help but think that if they couldn’t control the mass of people, a riot or something similar could happen. The 20 lucky guys closest to the building were let in by the staff. I’m sure there was a line inside the building that rivalled the one outside."
Apparently, those 20 lucky guys, released from the orgy of VR porn lovers outside, were able to run wild through the festival playing with all manner of VR-related gadgets.
