Everything except the second to last point was pretty common back in the early days of YouTube too. I managed to get 21k views on a really **** video from the title when I was like, 13.

Oh yeah, one thing that will get you a ton of views: Misnaming. Back when Outlast had just come out, my cousin put up a series on it. One episode was titled "The Whistleblower", which was also the name of the then-unreleased DLC. People thought that it was a gameplay video of said DLC, causing this 37-subscriber channel to get a video with 13k views. No other episode in that series got less than 100 views after that, though outside that his views did drastically drop off.

Post meme videos of the latest dankest memes and after you have accumulated a decent sized following, change the focus of your channel to something else so that your name is already out there.
