Only Planeswalkers can call upon and wield this energy. While average beings are unaware of worlds beyond their own, Planeswalkers know the greater truth: each plane is but one of many, with unique mana that could be theirs to control.

YOU AREONE OF THE ELITE

A Planeswalker is a powerful mage, able to traverse the planes of existence. Only one in a million is born with this potential spark, and of those, even fewer ignite it.

Often, this happens as a result of a great crisis or trauma. A near-death experience could ignite the spark, as could a life-changing epiphany or even a revelatory meditative trance.

But once they’ve ignited their sparks, Planeswalkers gain the rare ability to survive the uncontained energy between the planes and thus have the power to travel from plane to plane. This ability, in turn, gives them access to many different lands, creatures, and spells—more than most archmages bound to one plane could ever dream of.

The life of a Planeswalker is a life of choice and self-determination unrestricted by the boundaries of world or fate. Most Planeswalkers dedicate themselves to some personal mission as they explore the secrets of the Multiverse. Often, they discover the depths of their own souls in the process.

In this game, you are a planeswalker and will go on quite an adventure with other planeswalkers. All of you, whether you are recently ignited planeswalkers or you've been one for a long time, we're visited by a planeswalker by the name of Tamiyo, informing you of a group of planeswalkers coming together making an oath to protect the Multiverse from dangerous threats such as the Eldrazi and the Evil Nicol Bolas. All you have to do is fill out the application below and bring it to the Gatewatch headquarters on Ravnica.

Home Plane(using a plane that already exists will be easiest for story purposes, as we may visit a home plane eventually, but if you want to create a Plane you may do so. The Multiverse is a huge place):


One other thing. Keep in mind you do not have to play a human character. There are quite a few planeswalkers who aren't humans. We have Satyr planeswalkers, leonin, demons, merfolk, vampires, elves, and even dragons (Though rare and only 2) so be creative with your Walker.

Tell us about yourself: A powerful demon mercenary in the past, Alwin was once hired by a demonic princess to kill her father. He succeeded, but was betrayed, captured, and sentenced to death. When he was kneeled over, head to the ground, ax above his head, his spark activated, and he showed up in the plane of Shadowmoor. It was here learned what he was based on ancient legends of powerful figures, and began training to become a spell caster. Despite his background, Alwin is not evil. He simply cares about himself more than others, and acts in that fashion.

Well yes and no. I'm more of a moderator. I'll be in control of established walkers like Jace, Ajani, Bolas, Saheeli, Arkinn, etc.

Personality: she is laidback and calm. She seldom becomes angry. Once she makes a friend, she is fiercely loyal to them. She doesn't mind doing the dirty work when it needs to be done and has a fun, playful demeanor.

Appearence: she wears blue leather armor that is quite intricate. It seems to shimmer like water. It also left her entire left arm and shoulder exposed. Her skin is slightly tanned but not dark. She has a line of freckles across her nose. Her straight brown hair was swept to the side. She wore brown boots and had a brown balderic style belt. That held her blue silver sword on her back. She also wore a brown cape. She has a spiraling blue tattoo that ran from her cheek to her left forearm. She can breathe underwater.

Backstory: Aria lived in a prosperous town by the coast. She always felt close with nature and she loved to play the sea and in fields. One day, a distant earthquake created a tidal wave that rushed towards their village. When it hit, Aria was swept away. She would have drowned but her spark ignited and she was granted new lungs similar to those of merfolk. She could breathe underwater. Now she travels through the plains exploring the deeps of the oceans, discovering new species and doing her share of saving children who are swept out to sea.

Weapon of choice: silver sword.

Spells: Narwhal, pacifist, Clutch of currents, pull from the deep, triton cavalry, sigiled starfish.
