If you run out of stamina while gliding and fall, you can still pull out your glider again briefly, which can be used to prevent fall damage, or to extend your glide distance a little further (particularly handy when gliding over water, as you will drown instantly if you fall into water with no stamina).

  • Empty handed enemies may catch a boomerang
  • An empty handed enemy will pick up a weapon so throw it a deku leaf and it'll do minimal damage.
  • Zelda has an interesting diary in her room.
  • Freeze an enemy and throw it off a cliff for an insta-kill.
  • The more i see of Urbosa the more i like her.

  • Bouncing while shield surfing uses up more durability, it's more economical to just stay on the ground.
  • You can use the Sheikah Sensor + to target weapons that monsters are holding, so if there's a specific weapon you want to hoard, you can find them much easier.
  • You don't have to wait for a Hinox to wake up to deal damage, you may be able to kill it faster if you keep attacking before it can fully stand up, and there's less risk of taking damage.
  • Continuously charging a great sword's charged attack on a Stone Talus's weak spot will do massive damage very quickly.
  • Silver monsters can survive fall damage from high cliffs if they have enough health.

  • -Swinging an elemental melee weapon expels its charge, but doesn't damage the weapon so long as you don't physically hit anything. This means you can start unlimited fires with a single flame weapon.
  • When climbing in the rain you slip after every jump, or after a certain amount of time climbing. If you time your jump right before you would slip normally, you can make maximum progress in the rain.
  • Names of places on the map have shiekah words underneath them. Words I've noticed include: place, location, water, mountain and forest. There is one place on the map, however, where the shiekah word is "artifact". That place is the eastern abbey on the great plateau.
The markings in the room where you fight Calamity Ganon say "LABORATORY" over and over.

You can damage the propellers of flying guardians with arrows, etc., destroying them if you do enough damage.
Destroyed propellers will drop materials in addition to what you would get from the guardian itself.
Destroying all propellers of a flying guardian will cause it to fall to the ground, where you can destroy it more easily.

Electric arrows do more damage in the rain.

If you get a headshot on an electric Lizalfos, it does an electric bubble, electrocuting everything around it.

Cooking just 1 hearty radish does a full heal and 3 bonus hearts. (this is good food for the Ganon fight)

There is a Hylian woman in Rito village who pays a ton for Baked Apples, and even more for ones in bulk. (it's very easy to warp to death mountain and cook them on the ground)

The Cryonis Rune also works on mud and tar.

The Master Sword glows and does 60 attack when fighting guardians (as well as in Hyrule Castle) and lasts a lot longer.

If you unequip your items (bow, sword and shield) you make a lot less noise.

If you use octorock balloons, you can make rafts fly.

Some weapons respawn, like Royal Guard's gear and near the Gerudo tower there is a respawning Edge of Duality. (50 attack claymore)

If you light 4 or more campfires it causes an updraft and NPCs run away or cower in fear.
