Four Swords Adventures is a great game. Even better with more people if you ask me. If I recall, it doesn't come with any cords/cables. And no, the DS/DS Lite/DSi are not compatible with the cords needed to connect it to the Gamecube/Wii. You will need a GBA/SP to play it with more than one player. You can play with just a controller in one player mode though.

Also, is in not too difficult to link up with other people via cords? I would not be able to actually beat that game due to a lack of well...Zelda playing friends around me.

Four Swords Adventure is really good, but if your planning on playing with other people it can be annoying, in order to play with other people both of you have to have a Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Advance connector, and it only gets more complicated if you want to play with four people.

And don't forget that you can play it on Single Player Mode.
For that you only need a GCN controller.

It can be done probably easier with one player because there are lots of challenges that use Link's Tunic and it is more difficult with two people foro these parts, but others become easier with 2 people, so it goes both ways.

I have only played it one player but I think it would be better with 4 people ( if ever possible.)

Linking up with others is pretty easy, even more easy if it's legit. Many have tried linking up using VBA Link and such, though it doesn't work. It seems that, VBA Link cannot handle FSA and is not compatible! So yeah I recommend FSA, it is fun, amazing, and quite funny in some parts!

We are talking about Four Swords Adventures for the GCN, not Four Swords that came in the same cartridge as ALttp GBA

This is a great game if you play it with more than one person and for that you need the things that plug into the Gamecube and the Gameboy and I think it comes with one. Now if you play it with one player you get all the adventuring but that is not that good. Has anyone ever played with four players it sounds really fun.
