Default Spirit Tracks: First 90 Minutes

The guys at Games Radar were able to get their hands on Spirit Tracks and play through the first 90 minutes of the game. They have posted a full review of their hands on experience and it reveals quite a bit of spoilers about the storyline and early portion of the game. Below is a small non-spoiler fraction of the review.

Today, having essentially seen the first 90 minutes of the game (and played through the first dungeon), we can safely say Spirit Tracks is every damn bit as good as Phantom Hourglass, if not even better.

So while that won't put all the critics to rest, I think it might slightly calm down the bitterness over the use of train tracks in the latest Zelda game. It looks like it is going to continue on in the same line of Phantom Hourglass, and to me personally, that is not a bad thing at all. I briefly, BRIEFLY skimmed through this, just to see if there was any info I didn't know.
But otherwise I think properly reading this will ruin the atmosphere and experience when (I, at least) finally do get around to playing it.

It's darn tempting to do all the same. But no. I'm still reeling from the utter information overload we've had today... from two not-that-informative trailers to descriptions of the first 90 minutes in the space of 24 hours?! *head explodes*

"Anyone can draw. Anyone can attempt to recreate what they see in front of them - or a scene they imagine - by making marks on a piece of paper. If you hear someone say "I can't draw", slap them for me. As long as they have a moving part to which a pencil can be taped, they can draw." ~spoonbard

For those of you who care, because I don't mind reading it:

Remember the Temple of the Ocean King from Phantom Hourglass? It was a lengthy dungeon that you had to reenter throughout the game, with the ultimate goal of descending to its final floor. We didn’t mind it too much, though it was easily the most contentious aspect of the game. In Spirit Tracks, the Tower of Spirits acts like the Temple, only each floor is its own area, and even though you’ll return a few times, you will not be replaying the same floors over and over.
From reading this article, this game sounds amazing already.

But quite a lot like PH.
