I'm not sure I'd trust a private company either, to be honest. Ethics only matter to the extent that they are profitable, to most companies.

If you could have a microchip embedded in yourself that could be used for easier identification, banking, tracking in the case of an emergency, password security, etc, would you do it? Would you trust the government not to misuse it or be afraid of it posing security concerns because of hackers?
