I purchased Blood Dragon a couple of days ago, too. The game's an absolute blast, definitely! Everything about it, from the electronic, Kavinsky-esque musical score, to the stereotypically damaged action hero, to the B-movie plot, just screams fun.
I just purchased Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, too. I'm a huge admirer of the original title, and I sincerely hope that this sequel greatly expands upon its predecessor's core concepts.
Yesterday, I purchased the Citadel DLC for Mass Effect 3. While the add-ons that followed ME2's Lair of the Shadow Broker were solid, none of them measured up to that one in terms of character interaction, memorable moments and locations, and overall fun. Until now.
Citadel is an amazing...
Last week, I purchased Assassin's Creed 3. Having already completed it, I have to say that I'm surprised by just how much I enjoyed this game. Aside from the abysmally abrupt ending, the story of AC3 is masterfully told. The sense of place is virtually unprecedented, the combat is engaging and...
I just payed off the rest of my pre-order for Dead Space 3. Having just revisited both Dead Space and Dead Space 2, I am extremely excited about this installment. Admittedly, I'm a tad disappointed to hear that the game will be less survival-horror-focused than its predecessors. As long as the...
I just paid off the rest of my preorder for both Resident Evil 6 and Pokemon: Black 2. Considering that I've been trying to save up for the Wii U, that probably wasn't a great decision.
Earlier tonight, I bought Resident Evil 4 off of the Xbox Live Marketplace. Considering that this is one of the most critically-acclaimed games of all time, I think that it's high time that I gave this game a shot.
Within the past couple of days, I've picked up New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. Now, that's enough video game purchases for awhile.
In preparation for the awesomeness that will be New Super Mario Bros. 2, I decided to purchase the original DS title. I owned the game once, years ago, but somehow managed to lose it. Those tiny, stinkin' DS cartridges.
I purchased Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition a couple of days ago. Already, I've had some pretty wild adventures. Exploring underground tunnels, destroying friends' stuff (I'm a jerk), getting a cow unstuck from a tree. It's all been pretty magical.
Just received the God of War trilogy in the mail today. Having never owned a PS2, and having just bought a PS3 a few months ago, I'm essentially playing catchup. After I'm done with those three games, I'll likely move on to either Ico and Shadow of the Collosus or Metal Gear Solid.
