It's no shock to me whatsoever that this thread is not only unsuccessful but that there are still not "serious" posts in the original thread. Personally I see nothing wrong with jokey appreciation posts, as long as it doesn't get completely derailed, and I think this thread should just be trashed.

Also agree with this. Seems a bit overkill.
