Well thats one of the very early areas that was shown back in 1996. It was leftover in the games debug rom.

The graphics were not improved. Some were just redone to match the alpha/beta version of the games actors.

How about it re created the beta interface, beta model of Link, pretty much bringing all beta aspects back to life.

While rom hacking, you can edit pretty much anything.

From the looks of this fan made beta mod so far, its going great! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6623544177673115251 They got the beta interface and model of Link down almost exact. Hopefully soon there will be a full release of this mod with actual beta environments.
