Man, seriously didn't think I'd like the story as much as I do. Started chapter 11 earlier today. Sure, there were a few dumb parts in it, but it's still very compelling. The story chapters compliment the affinity and regular missions(I call them 'grinding quests') well.

73 hours in. Level 41. Mechanical level 4, so every data post I can get, I have (excluding Cauldros, barely touched it). Full party of Skells with flight module. Duelist class complete (love the longsword). About to start chapter 11 soon. This game has drastically exceeded my expectations so far.

They always get replaced for free. I got one that I wrecked like 6 times and the value next to Skell Insurance doesn't change.

Got a skell today. They're pretty cool, and fast as hell. Yet, I'm still at a loss for how multiplayer works. Read TK's post, watched the survival guide, even went into the game manual, still have 0 clue. It's weird, because when choosing a squad, there's no difference between the Lifehold Squad...

What other games do doesn't concern me, but there are definitely games that allow you to change your character after they're created, namely fighting games and RPG's. It's a haircut, though. It's something super basic, and if it weren't in the game, I'd have been disappointed.

Well, it's done. Xenoblade Chronicles X is the first game I've ever preordered (even though it comes out tomorrow). I hope it lives up to my expectations.

Literally every RPG I can think of is tedious(grinding), how did you see this game being not tedious? That's fine, though, I don't blame you, RPG's can get very boring sometimes, it's more of a labor of love for RPG fans than anything, just last night I spend two hours in Fire Emblem Awakening...

I watched those video reviews and they're contradictory, which just proves to me that you gotta just test it out yourself.

I just wish the game didn't have that weird combat system, that's all that's holding me back with this game. I just don't see how this combat system can be exciting.

I don't know. I used to be really hyped for it, but the combat system looks too boring so far. Hopefully the system for the robots are more action-oriented.
