The motion controls felt like the same mini game over and over. It didn't really add anything interesting in how it plays, and took away from how cinematic combat looked and felt in Twiligh Princess. And it's not like past 3D zelda's lacked depth in the combat, Twilight Princess even had this...
If there is just one more rune we haven't heard about, like it seems to be. I know that we have a lot of options in breath of the wild, but I would be sad if this rune system wouldn't be explored further with some more crazy ideas.
I will try to take the route the players at the Switch event took. Where I will aim to go to the nearby Sheikah tower in Hyrule Field.
It will serve as a nice, central point to plan where to go next. I will also get to see if other towers activate some sort of main quest event.
I am totally fine with just four main dungeons. Majora's Mask shows how, as long as they are all unique and interesting, and the rest of the game has enough content, that this is no problem.
As what we heard about them, they do seem to be a super unique type of structure you have to solve to...
You aren't required to play the TPHD level to use wolf link in BotW. You can increase it's maximum amount of hearths. If you use it without boosting it in TPHD he will just have 3 hearths.
As an archanophobic: please no.
Looking at it unbiased, I think that there are already a lot of spider looking enemies with those guardians and mini guardians, so I'm not sure if they would add skulltulas as well.
I think you are missing the point of the game. You are free to go where you want, and you going to the final boss when you feel like that adds to it. If you consider what the final boss is, a prisoned entity around the castle, it makes sense you can go and fight the dude. There will be a huge...
It wasn't specifically mentioned that the shrines would share the same astetics. Just that they don't have the 'regular' themes dungeons and mini dungeons used to have. My bet is that there will be at least some variation in colour.
It means that the only timeline related stuff we will get is: It will go >here< and we can conclude that from some asthetics or part of the story. The game won't be designed with that placement in line, so it won't be the follow up story of TP or the origin of majora's mask or something.

Anouma pretty much confirmed the timeline placement won't play a big part in the story of the game. Maybe you will see some connections of what the world used to be, and which Zelda game it fits. But...
The sound system improvement doesn't seem to be something you could only achieve with a Switch, but wouldn't take a lot of the Wii U's power, right?
I find it odd that it got improved on the Switch version. I could be totally wrong though, not a software engineer.
There seem to be 4 of them. The Goron, the Fish well, thing, the gerudo girl and the falco bird dude. They all have a blue sheikah scarf and seem to be story related.
WHY!? Why doesn't the whole world get the complete package? What's the deal with that, make something less attractive for consumers in different parts of the world.
Am I the only one that prefered that 'Cry scene' in english? People say the japanese sounds more like a real cry, but to me it sounds like some overacted anime cry. At least the english one fits the context of Zelda being let down about her (asumed to be) wasted effort. The Japanese one sounds...
Early March world wide. That is the only rumor that has been consistent and has some what of a confirmation, considering it was on the BotW site when it first launched.
Then they realised they ****ed up, because it was supposed to release at Switch launch. Spoiling the Switch release date they...
Since the post asks if we are ready for breath of the wild, I would say it even further confirms releasing soon. I'm really putting my bets on early march.
The only thing they can really do wrong is putting less effort in the normal sized dungeons. I play zelda for those things, so that aspect getting overshadowed by the overworld would ruin the game as a Zelda game for me. I am also affraid that there will be too less motivation to actively be...
To come back at the overview trailer, I would really love something like a feature overview they do for World of Warcraft (just YouTube Legion: extended preview) Where there is a small story narative, overview shots and the names of all zones and dungeons and some extra shots of new items or...
I replayed twilight princess at the HD remake launch, and knowing how Breath of the Wild is all about exploring, I focussed more on exploration in this game too! First time I ever collected near everything in a Zelda game and without much help from guides (only for those damn bugs. They are...
Like, I would be totally fine with some artwork untill the switch presentation in two weeks, and then them dropping one last trailer with some nice overview shots and story bits. End the trailer with a final release date and then go silent.
I just don't want anything spoiled like they did with...
Does anybody know how the miiverse stamps are spread over the world?
I know that there are video's that show their location, but I want to stay spoiler free about their exact location, so I can't watch them.
So, how many miiverse stamps are there in each dungeon, and in the overworld?
Well, there will always be a point where the world gets way to big. This forces the developer to make the exploreable content repetitive, since there will never be enough time to make it all unique. I think Zelda WII U shouldn't go for as big as possible. I would rather see them make a world...
I would really like a story that leads you through a world that is also exploreable. Cut the world into some zones, each with it's own storyline and fill the rest with exploreable content.
It's a bit sad we haven't heard that much about TP:HD. That game is supposed to be released in 2 months and all we have seen is some upscaled cutscenes and an amiibo.
For Zelda Wii U, I'm expecting nothing before the twilight princess release, because they have both this remake and hyrule...
The point is that everyone is not going to accept it if the game turns out to be twilight princess 2.0 . There is almost no excuse for them to not make it the best case scenario. They have had enough time, enough imput and feedback, enough room to switch things up totally ( them not showing...
So I have been really thinking about concepts for the story of Zelda wii U. Mostly those thoughts were based on: what do they have to pull of, to suprise me. What does Zelda Wii U have to be, to be the best zelda up to now. And I came up with this.
The story on the timeline is right after...
