Also don't diseases mutate and resist for pills like this? It would kind of make your work all for naught in the long run wouldn't it?
Exactly. Virus/Disease/Germs all mutate far too quickly for something like this to be effective. Also, there is the problem of the human body becoming immune to the vaccine/pill, and some people have allergies to medications.

Other than what I've already seen about nanomachinery being the more likely future, how would any one pill be able to ever fight every single known ailment, as well as being guaranteed to be able to fight all the new ones which are likely to develop and involve, especially with climate change?
