Uh mandy, the great deku tree has a son who replaces him after you beat phantom ganon and save saria. So his son only survives after link is an adult.

I have another thought about something else… I’ve never played it, but doesn’t the Great Deku Tree die in Ocarina of Time? If so how is he in the Wind Waker, when that’s in the adult timeline, and not in Twilight Princess, which is in the child timeline?

*gasps* Could it possibly be?! Hyrule may have existed at one point in time! It was most likely the lost Kingdom of Atlantis! Wind Waker’s Hyrule seems that way at least…
