    Default Subrosians? ( oracle games)

The subrosian race. You go to subrosia through portals, etc, the temple of seasonds fell down there....but my question is- what are subrosians? where did they come from? and WHAT is under those hoods they wear?

I think...at a longshot, maybe they have faces slighly reminiscent of redeads, or cat least something they are ashamed of. otherwise why would they be so hidden under there clothes?

I wish there was a subrosian who took his/her hood down. Also, I wonder what their bodies look like. They seem to have something to hide. That, or maybe they just feel exposed in anything but their cloaks?

I believe it is for protection from all the heat, maybe their cloaks make them feel cooler... Don't forget that Subrosia is a volcanic land.

Yes, but I've seen subrosians bathing in lava after doing their dance in the subrosia dance hall tihng. Then again, they still had their cloaks on while in the lava, so....

Yes, I think I see what you're getting at. You mean maybe their cloaks become cold when their surroundings are hot and hot when the surroundings are cold. Temperature changing cloaks, eh? sounds like you've got an idea....... but anyway, If that is it, then maybe....what if they can't survive very long without wearing their cloaks becuase their bodies can't survive the temperatures, hot or cold, it doesn't matter?

Probably something like that... wich also make me believe that they aren't really from subrosia... In OoS they are called Subrosians cause they leave in Subrosia, and in TRRL they are called Salona cause they leave in Saloons, see the point? They name themselves after the place where they live, probably

Yes......and if that's right, for it to be called subrosia, that would mean someone of something would have ot have been there before to call it that. Let's think....what creatures have to capabilityto create or live in a land like subrosia?

Well... the name subrosia has an hidden meaning:

An interesting tidbit about Subrosia, when you break it down it becomes Sub rosa or "underneath the rose" in Latin. In ancient times a rose over a doorway signified that a secret meeting was taking place. The name Subrosia literally means "secret place" and Subrosian "secretive person".

Secretive person......I'm thinking this might have had something to do with a villain who wanted to lie low while healing or sometihng they didn't want anyone else to know about.

Well.. it is speculated that the Subrosians/Salona and the garo from Majora's Mask have something related, since they are very similar

Yeah....maybe the garo in termina are alternate version of the subrosians/salona
seeing as termina is a parallel world. Or maybe they're just related. hmm....but Anyway....judgiing by what they wear in subrosia, and their environment, maybe they wear those cloaks becuase they're so hideously burnt? Link can survive in subrosia's heat, but maybe the race that the subrosians / salona's are highly sensetive to heat and got burned, which would support my theory.

Well, a lot of races and such in the Zelda series go by where they live. Like the Hylians live in Hyrule and the Kokiri live in Kokiri Forest, but not all of them, like the Goron and Zora. Death Mountain and then Zora's Domain, only called Zora's Domain because they're Zora... I guess it can go either way, though.

But anyway, I don't know nor ever wondered what is under those hoods that they wear. The temperature thing may be a good idea, but I really have no suggestions to this question. I think that it's just something they wear, I mean, maybe they're just shadows?
