Default Spirit Tracks IGN Rewind Trailer

The guys at IGN have created another one of their Rewind trailers, where they take a look at a released trailer, and provide audio commentary while playing the trailer and rewinding over certain portions of the game.

They recently did this for Spirit Tracks and the video is embedded below. There are a few things they point out that one might not see when watching the trailer for themselves. Beware, there are some spoilers for the early portion of the game found within the trailer.

This will definately open up timeline theories because of Zelda's death. Zelda will probably act as the "Navi" of Spirit Tracks giving Link information. This trailer concludes that Spirit Tracks takes place before the Wind Waker because Tetra is most likely the daughter of this Zelda and that the land isn't flooded yet. There may be some arguments against this timeline theory however. Spirit Tracks looks a lot better than when I saw it in the first trailer.

Default Zelda's Death in Spirit Tracks

If you notice that they say Zelda dies, how do you think she can reappear in future games? Maybe there will be some connection with Tetra, but Nintendo might not have noticed that, I just wanted to point that out as Nintendo has to figure out whether to somehow make Zelda a living being or the gamer can have some fun with the ability to have Zelda as a ghost like switching between her and Link. I don't know how Spirit Tracks will end, so that might effect whether Zelda ends up dead , or alive . Nintendo however sometimes will separate the upcoming Zelda games, but that's up to Nintendo.
