um i just beat ph nad i saved before i fought the final from of bellum and now evry time i play i start with the ghost ship in the western corner how do i beat the game and sve so that when i play its after i beat the game

You can't... You'll have to fight Bellumbeck eternally... The only Zelda games i remember in wich you were able to save after defeating the Last Bosses were the Oracles...

You can't save the game so you can play after you beat Bellum, but you can just leave the Ghost Ship and do whatever you want before you fight him. You're still free to do whatever in that timeframe, and you can go fight him whenever you want.

That is one thing I've alway disliked about Zelda games.

Then go play Oracle of Ages and Seasons, you can save after you beat the final bosses

Besides, majority of the plots have it so when the world is restored to its old glory, there is nothing left for our hero to do. Unless you would like to make a life game of Link in the Great Sea. Actually, that would be a sorta good fan game: You control Tetra's Ship and get as much treasure as you can get by raiding ships and exploring islands.

You can't. There's no point of beating Bellum except gathering the last remaining items. I beat Bellum without any fairy upgrades.

Anyway, just do whatever you want after beating bellum (the boss).
