Zelda Covers.

One of my favorite hobbies is recording music, so of course I've done a couple of Zelda covers over the years.

Woodfall Temple
Threw this one together today in about an hour using only Hydrogen (a free drum machine program). I guess you could call it a karaoke track since I didn't record the hollering in the background. I'm really pleased with how it turned out for being a product of boredom.

Jazzy Windmill
This was the very first thing my friend and I ever recorded, way way back in 2007. All we had was a crappy $10 microphone from Walmart, my bass guitar, and her elephant shaped kid's keyboard. Despite the poor quality, I think it's a great tune. The organ solo at the end was 100% improvised by my friend and we only needed one take. Amazing!

Lost Woods
The first song I recorded with my current equipment earlier this year. Pretty straightforward.

That's all the tracks I have for now. I'd like to do a lot more (maybe even a whole CD's worth of Majora's Mask covers) but I'm not sure when I'll get back into recording again.

Bremen March
This is one of my favorite songs from Majora's Mask. It's just so fun! It makes the impending apocalypse seem a little less frightening.

Horse Race
I'd really like to do a song every day, so here's a new one. I have no idea what I'm going to do tomorrow though because I've sort of run out of simple projects that don't require too much planning or effort. I might have to branch off of my Zelda run.
