    Default Magical Shield Replica

So...after making my Deku Shields and auctioning them on eBay, they're already becoming a hit. I decided to make yet another replica, the Magical Shield from the game that started it all.

If I make more, I would fix the sides of the cross to be wider to match the body more, and make the shield a bit bigger. I would also use a brighter red, so the next one I make will probably be mine for keeping. I know that the edges should've been a lighter brown/orange, which I have. But I just think the gold makes it look so much better...

Unlike my Deku Shields, I attached just one handle in the middle to make it a center boss shield. I will most likely use the slightly bigger handle that I've been using on my Deku Shields since this one gave me trouble with the screws.

The picture makes it look bigger than it is, but this one was a semi-prototype that I will be giving to my neighbor. The next one I make will have improvements and will probably will be mine for keeping. If these go well just like my Deku Shields, Magical Shield Replicas not existing will also become a thing of the past.

But let me know what you think of it!

Oh, and I forgot to mention that I also used wood stain on this one instead of brown paint. It just makes it feel more like a shield, since it's wood.

And thanks! Art has its own rewards, plus making people happy and making a buck or two.

i noticed in TP and/or OoT(i forget which) that the handle is off to the sidemore and there is a non-adjustable(optional irl) strap. idk if this sheild is like that but i think even shields in movies are like the one i described. idk, it's up to you

My Deku Shields have straps and handles that match the design of the Hylian Shield in Twilight Princess. The back is never shown on the official artwork for this shield, so I just put a handle in the middle so I can use it in both hands, and because it's a bit cheaper not having to buy leather for the strap.

Nice. Really, really nice. I don't know a better way to describe it.

I love that you all like it so much! These will be cheaper and easier to make than my Deku Shields, so I plan to auction them on eBay as well after I complete my second one for keeping, since this one was kind of a prototype and has some small flaws. There is one site with metal Deku Shields, but besides that, there are no others. But there are no replicas of this one at all. I am officially in business!

This is actually pretty awesome. I don't have any money to buy one, sadly, but I will say it's a very cool replica and you did a good job with it. No real complaints.

I'm actually surprised though, Brandles. I didn't know you made stuff like this.

I just started this month, Axle. And it is honestly coming along much better than I thought. I originally thought of only making one Deku Shield, not several, along with Magical Shields.

Hey, I've known you for a while. If you want a small discount I can give you one. I'm charging over $50 for the Deku Shields, but probably not more than $40 for the Magical Shields since they're smaller than the Deku Shields, and don't cost as much to make.

Hey, that's super sweet! I love the graininess? of it. I would love to own a deku shield myself.
