    Default Link Tattoo - Pics

    For the past 3 years, I've wanted a Zelda-related tattoo, a sleeve covering my left leg from the ankle to the knee. I had been tossing different ideas about what I wanted, and in November I finally asked my best friend to draw a design based on a picture of Link I liked, which he did an amazing job on (I'm so grateful for it). I brought the design to an artist, and on the 21st of December, 2011, my first tattoo began. It took 7 hours, and It's not finished yet, but here it is for now:

    Here's my leg beforehand


    This is about 2-3 hours in


    And here it is after the full first session:



    The Shield, Sword & Face need to have more work done on them, and I will be adding tonnes more to the leg, but I thought I would share this with ZD now, because I'm incredibly excited about it!
    Completed: Ocarina of Time (100%), Majora's Mask (100%, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess (100%), Phantom Hourglass
    Incomplete: Legend of Zelda [3DS], Adventure of Link [3DS], Link's Awakening [3DS], Four Swords [3DS] Minish Cap (Can't Beat Vaati), Spirit Tracks (Final Temple), Skyward Sword (Final Temple)
    Don't Own: A Link to the Past, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages

    Would anyone like to buy me ALttP, OoA/OoS????

    Wow that looks amazing. It's definitely one of the very few tattoos that I actually find acceptable!

    It won't be finished for a few years, haha... but this aspect will be finished on the 19th of January... so if you're still interested, come back then! I'll upload more pictures then. It's kinda sore still - feels a bit like a bad sunburn.

    I'll take a scan and upload it, hopefully by tonight I'll PM it to you, just in case you don't come back to the thread.

    Thanks for all the positive feedback guys, It has stopped scabbing and itching for the most part, so the hard part is over - I have to go back in for more colour, but my appointment has been bumped to the 12th, so I'll upload pictures again next week.
