Hello, Zelda fans! I've been wanting to get the news spread around about this, so here we go:

Zelda fan movies have been attempted many times before and they often miss some of the key elements of the series that make it Zelda. Well, what way is better to make a movie than by actually basing off one of the games?
In mid-December, I got around word that I wanted to start a Zelda fan-film in our town and so far, we have about 30 people joined together in a Facebook group. We originally planned to do a Zelda Trilogy consisting of Zelda 1, A Link to the Past, and Link's Awakening. Due to time, we decided to only do A Link to the Past. However, the film title will simply be The Legend of Zelda to shorten the title. We don't want to have any confusion though. I've been writing the script since (while researching and re-playing) and making sure things are getting set for Pre-Production (props, actors, etc). We plan to start Pre-Production either late January or early February.

If you'd like to keep up with our progress, you have multiple options. You can check out our blog (Click Here), follow us on Twitter (Click Here), or "Like" our Facebook page (Click Here).

Another thing we'd really appreciate is if you would watch our Web Documentary. We will have more very soon as things happen, like when we get some shots of Link in costume or when we start on set pieces.
