Is OOT the first game in the timeline?

In Ocarina of Time,when you first see the Master Sword,Navi says that the Master Sword is the legendary sword that fights evil.
But if OOT is the first game in the timeline would't she not know what it is?

Here is the deal. Nobody has attempted to enter the Sacred Realm. Only the seven sages reside there, and the Door of Time has yet to be open. The Triforce was in its original, non split state. Wind Waker and Twilight Princess Links were decedents of the Hero of Time, from Ocarina of Time.

Yet Ocarina of Time was the first in the Triforce series if you believe in multiple series, of which I don't.

The Deku Tree is rooted to the earth,so how would he know about the Master Sword?

ummmmm k it is metioned in the wind waker that that link has no blood relation to the hero of time so he is not a desendent of him tp is however

I don't think that there is an actual timeline story amongst all the zelda games. The first 2 for the NES have a timeline and OOT and MM also have one together, but i don't think that there is a timeline of all the games put together.

Miyamato has said that they have a master timeline.

who knows but it does show gano getting the triforce so any other game with ganon must be after but any four swords type game could be before like minsh cap expect for four swords adventure that has ganon

I think Skyward Sword is 1st (because it is) and that OoT is 2nd. I am not really sure where Minish Cap fits in.

No he is not blood related directly but he is related because the island he is born on celebrates a festival where they must here clothes of the hero so by one way or the other he is related to Link from OOT.

Here is the thing about The FSS(four swords saga;mc-fs-fsa) coming before OOT is impossible because Ganondorf had not been changed into ganon through the events of OOT and since the events of OOT were of the original ganondorf(or at least it is portrayed that way) that means the FSS saga most likely comes some time after OOT.

The only possible game i see that could go before OOT is MC. Now i know many of you are going to say things against this but i still see it as at least a possibility. NOW the FSS in my opinion comes some time on the child timeline (mostly because it has no rightful place on the AT since it has no connections except for Force Gems which are used in completely different ways intheir respective games) or before OOT. Now in MC the four sword is laid to rest and so any amount of time could pass between the events of MC and FS. I usually put FS and FSA sometime after Tp onthe child timeline so if you think about it that means that MC could happen any time after TP or anytime before OOT because OOT and MM and TP are direct sequels so MC could not be put between them. Now their is no proof for the placement of MC to be before OOT or for being after TP because MC has connections to either game so in other words it could be placed in either place without it really mattering.

SS is the first in the timeline after that i would say ooT I don't believe MC goes first. I never did.
