A very Happy New Year to you all from Z-Talk! Here hoping for a great New Year filled with lots of great segments and fun Keaton Quizzes, mailbags, and all the rest. To kick off 2013 we have some fantastic segments from some of our regular contributors as well as a new voice or two. We have a mailbag that is exploding from the amount of voice questions and a very special guest on the Keaton Quiz this month. If you listened to November’s podcast, I’m sure you know who it is. Most importantly we have a special treat to start the new year of podcasts. Check that out after the Quiz. Be sure to tell us your thoughts on this podcast in this discussion thread!

I was waiting for others to reply to this, but I guess I'll be the first.

Rishian, you're like my little sister. You both shush people when they don't agree with you.

I love Random's new split personality (the voice synthesizer). Yay! I'm rare! I just like Twilight Princess. ...I want a fried hot dog now ...and cupcakes. I love the story of Twilight Princess, but the 'epic stuff' didn't have much appeal to me because I watched someone play TP all the way through before I played it myself, thus ruining the surprise. I would do that thing with the Ending Blow. And, heh, I'm that other girl. I didn't know the twirly-thing was possible for a long time, and haven't played Twilight Princess since I found out. Overall, this was a very good argument. Cupcake priveliges earned!

I don't play Metroid, but the things Majora's Cat mentions do sound like things that'd be good in Zelda. Except the 'optional story' thing. I personally wouldn't like that. I like to know I'm getting all my story. I like non-linear exploration and shooting like a madman.

Good mailbag is good. A few questions were hard to hear (coughcebocough) but all the questions were interesting and interestingly answered. I have opinions on one, though. Colonel-Majora's. I don't want Link to have a voice if it can be prevented, but if he did get a voice, instead of just talking to NPCs and in cutscenes, I'd want him to be the narrator! You know how when you get an item it's all "You got the 'whatever'! This item does this!"? Have Link know there's someone, like, spiritually following him or something, and have him tell the player all the stuff they need to know. And for 'yes/no' cutscenes, he'd be all "So, (insert player name) what do you think? Yes or no?" Yeah. That's my idea. And my method for beating Silent Realms is abusing light fruits and being a general ninja. Liked the ending, Din and Rish.

For Colonel-Majora's Legendary Reflection, I actually would like steampunk in Zelda. As long as the technology still has a magical feel to it, I'll be more than fine with technology. But guns are always a no-no.

One thing I want to make clear on the Keaton Quiz. I KNEW THE ANSWER TO THE CRENEL WALL QUESTION. I knew the Grip Ring was the item you'd have to use, I just would have mis-named it. I did NOT completely steal the answer from Axel. Just saying. And, Din, whaddaya mean you weren't expecting me to win?!

And Hylia-da came out awesome. I was surprised I was the only girl besides Din to sing. Still loved it. That "Hyeaah!" at the end cracked me up.

Bloopers were hilarious as always. Din had a lot this time.

Great job everybody! And you all may bask in my Axle-beating glory JK, I'm not that conceited.

You're voice either sound incredibly awesome now, or you've caught the flu us Americans are catching all 'round the country. I'm one of those people who love TP. It's a great game in terms of story & gameplay. I also agree that it is easy, and even easier when you're playing it on wii, but that doesn't mean its a terrible game. There are times where I was completely stumped on what to do, like when you had to fight that giant king bokoblin thing on the Bridge of Eldin with Epona. Also, I don't think it was trying to make it a copycat of OoT or MM. It was its own game and refers to them just enough to link those games together so the storyline & timeline makes sense.
And yes, Random Person, I'll admit memorized the A button finish too.

Personally, I HATE the idea of having a 3rd timeline where Link fails. I just can't bare to know that there's actually a chance that if I game over in OoT, Ganon would win

I don't have a favorite character, but I really like Link, Zelda, Groose, Ayerll(Link's sister. I probably spelled that wrong) and Grandma
My favorite enemy is Ghirahim (didn't see that coming did ya) and my least favorite is Skull Kid
Oh god... the silent realms were amazing! I would love to have them again! It scared the crap out of me! I never got use to them, but I tried to stay calm instead of freaking out.
