    Default Purple Leever in OoT?

4th February 2011. The clock is ten past half eleven. I'm well on my way to the second half of the Spirit Temple in "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time". And as you all know, to get to the temple quickly, just play the "Requiem of Spirit" song on your ocarina. Well, here is the strange part. I was down to half of my total life (after the battle with the Iron Knuckle as a child) so I go to the Great fairy in the cave outside the temple. I refill my hearts, but as I walk down to the temple I get continually attacked by leevers. So I figure I'll play the "Song of Storms" by the dried up oasis. It didn't work as a grown up I figured out, so I desperately fight off some leevers for some hearts. Suddenly, the battle music starts (it doesn't while fighting/running away from leevers), so I think "What, another Guay?" No. To my astonishment, a much larger, purple leever show up! So I looked it up on Zeldadungeon ( ) and find out, it is not there! The enemies guide does not even mention anything about purple leevers!
So I wondered, could any of you guy's look more into this? I'm pretty new and it would be great for both me and all Zelda-fans.
I found the purple leever after batteling off some regular leevers down by the dried up oasis between the big rock and the "wall" of the stage.

Well, first off, welcome to Zelda Dungeon, Speham!!

As for the purple Leever, yes,I've seen it too. I fought it twice. I just thought they were the big ones that come up after defeating a bunch of little ones, like when the giant Stalchild shows up after you kill about ten of the little ones...

Yes, they aren't rare to see. It's bizarre that it isn't in the guide, really; after defeating a given number of regular Leevers in a given time, a larger, more powerful Leever will spawn. If I recall correctly, the same is true with Stalchilds. In Hyrule Field, I've fought a couple large ones after defeating a large number of small ones.

The pruple leever is just a bigger version just like in the feild fight off the stalchilds for a while and you get a bigger version of them nothing to really worry about.
