Zelda DS Lite Phantom Hourglass Bundle

So, this morning my girlfriend and I left to head to Best Buy around 4:30 in the morning, and waited in line for half an hour in below freezing weather. By the time we got to them, there were two left, luckily. It is a limited edition Zelda DS Lite, gold colored with a triforce symbol, and bundled with Phantom Hourglass - apparently some Thanksgiving special. It is only being sold for two days in stores and tommorow is the last. I've seen a few sold over eBay for over 600 dollars, and I managed to pick mine up for the great price of $150.00. (But of course, I'm not selling it.)

I owe this all to my girlfriend. If it wasn't for her, I would not have gotten this, let alone even know about it. :)

*the last one (of the closed DS) is not dust. When I first saw the picture I thought it was the DS, but I checked it and noticed there are very small, almost unnoticable sparkles of the glitter. They are noticable on the picture because of the flash of the camera.

Hearing about this only proves more of the point that people are spoiled. It performs the same function as any other DS but some just have to have it because it's got some different colors on it. My opinion on the whole idea of selling the same product with a different image is stupid. Too bad it works so well.

I'm going to get one, not just for the fancy colors but because I've been wanting a DS (I don't have one) but never had the money at the right time. But this seems perfect, me being a Zelda fan and all. So it's not just for people who are spoiled and already have one Toons. I am a perfect example of that. = ]

Well, just to clear things up: No I'm not rich or spoiled. I have a white DS Lite, yes, but the hinge is starting to crack on the left side, due to toddlers... I was originally going to buy Phantom Hourglass and use it on that DS until it wasn't playable, but this bundle pack was a good deal. I think I saved 10-20 dollars actually, let alone the benefit of having my DS Zelda-themed.

Man that looks awesome really, I really want one but it's quite expensive. I'll probably just get a normal DS to start my sister has a Black DS. Hopefully for christmas or something I'll get a DS.

If you have neither the Nintendo DS or the Phantom Hourglass, I recommend buying this bundle, you end up saving money :)

They are $150.00 on Amazon.com currently, for new.

Wasn't this just a holiday bundle? Or is it going to continue until after the holiday season. I sure hope they do continue it since it really does encourage those Zelda fans who've been holding off on a DS for some crazy reason. It also helps those wanting to play Zelda who are on a smaller budget. Those people that are going to get the DS only for this one game and maybe just 2-3 more.

I'm sure they probably will continue it after the Christmas rush, but even if they don't, those who want one could still get it off of Amazon or Ebay.

It was originally intended as a Thanksgiving special, only being released in stores for two days. I'm not sure if it's still in some stores, but I know various websites such as Amazon are still selling them for their retail price. I'm pretty amazed it hasn't gone up by now.

I got mine today for Christmas, it is the most awesome thing! 2 thumbs up on the bundle. Now I'm just waiting for Nintendo.com to come back online so I can register the game and DS so I can get the feather stylis
