I always wondered why Nintendo only released a zelda game(all games) for only one system at a time. Besides TP. But imagine, TPDS or PHWII. On the same page? Post your thoughts.

Because there are console Zeldas and portable Zeldas.

Still, the other companies are doing this. For example, Need For Speed games and MidnighClub(both car racing games that rock) come out for different systems. Why not Nintendo. This would reel in more people anyway.

Shadow Goris, you don't understand the first thing about video games. Let me run it down for you.
There are 1st party companies, 2nd party companies, and 3rd party companies.
1st party companies are Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft, and they make games for their own consoles.
2nd party companies are studios owned by the first party companies, like Retro Studios and Bungie, and make games their 1st party owners tell them to make for their consoles.
3rd party companies are like EA, Ubisoft, and Activision. Thet produce games, and have a choice to make the games exclusive to one platform, or to make them multi-platform.

The example you gave, Need For Speed, is a game franchise made by EA. They're 3rd party, so they don't have their own consoles, so they release the game on the consoles that are out (in this generation, Nintendo, Sony, and M$).

What you're saying is for Nintendo to make their 1st party, AAA Zelda franchise on other systems... XD
They uh, did this before, and the product were the CD-i Zeldas.

Not only would that be an incredibly stupid idea...Nintendo wouldn't benifet at all from it.

And Goris...in the future...you should go to Wikipedia or something and read about video gaming, because you seem to know nothing about it...just a tip ;)

So, is Rare(ware) a 2nd party company?

So, is Rare(ware) a 2nd party company?
Rareware is owned by M$, so therefore it is a 2nd party company to M$, but M$ allows them to make DS games, so Rareware is a 3rd party company to Nintendo.

Anyway, this thread is getting pretty offtopic.
